Family of Berkeley victim meet Bastian Schweinsteiger
The family of Berkeley balcony collapse victim Nick Schuster met Germany and Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger this evening at the Aviva Stadium.
Schweinsteiger, who is in Dublin as part of the German squad that will take on the Republic of Ireland tomorrow night, sent a message of condolence to the Schuster family back in June after the tragic events in California.
The German World Cup winner was pictured with one of the six victims, Niccolai Schuster, who was wearing an autographed shirt of the team's famous red and white home strip, in an image circulated on social media.

"The message is making me very sad. I wish you, the family and all relatives of Nick much strength for this difficult time. I also would like to send my deep-felt condolences to all other people who were affected by this tragedy ," Schweinsteiger wrote.
Mr Schuster, a University College Dublin student,was pictured with his arm round the footballer, prompting the response.
Schweinsteiger, captain of Germany, posted the message online after a request from one of the 21-year-old's friends.

Five Irish students, Lorcán Miller, Eimear Walsh, Eoghan Culligan, Niccolai Schuster and Olivia Burke, and Irish American student Ashley Donohoe died in the incident on June 16.
