Dublin Bus strikes called off after pay deal accepted

Dublin Bus drivers have accepted a new pay deal which sees planned strikes in the capital during October abandoned.

Dublin Bus passengers are safe from the threat of strikes next week after workers backed an 11.25 per cent pay rise over the next three years.

If the deal had been rejected, commuters would have faced further work stoppages on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday next week followed by strikes on October 18, 19, 24, 26, and 29.
