Dublin Airport briefly evacuated this morning because someone had a smoke in the toilets
Dublin Airport was briefly evacuated this morning, sparking a security scare
Just before 9am Morning Ireland reported that Dublin Airport has been evacuated after a bomb scare.
The presenters were preparing to introduce a live Ryan Tubridy broadcast from the Airport when they announced that the show had to be rescheduled as the airport had just been evacuated due to a bomb scare.
Posts on social media also confirmed the airport had been evacuated.
However, it seems the scare was short lived as Tubridy went on air as normal just after 9am.

It is now being suggested that a smoke alarm went off, sparking the brief security scare.
