Former RTÉ radio presenter Gareth O’Callaghan today took to Facebook to speak about his distress over the death of Philip Cairns and the twisted Paedophile who is now believed to have taken his life.

In the post O’Callaghan, who has written six bestselling books, speaks about his time working with “prolific paedophile” Eamon Cooke and how the pirate station owner was “raping children in a room upstairs above the studio, while his DJs were presenting their radio shows in the sitting room downstairs that overlooked Sarsfield Road”.

Gardai believe that paedophile Eamon Cooke was responsible for the killing of Philip Cairns.

Cairns was just 13 when he disappeared without a trace on October 23rd, 1986 while walking back to Colaiste Eanna school where he had been a first-year student for just over a month.

His schoolbag was found dumped in a laneway close to his home some six days later.
