French police are investigating after a worker was found dead inside the 'Phantom Manor' attraction at Disneyland Paris this weekend.

A fellow worker found the body of the 45-year-old technician at about 10am on Saturday, just before the park was due to open.

Early reports suggest the dead man may have died after an accidental electrocution.

The attraction was closed over the weekend and it is reported it will remain so until the middle of this week.

The man, who hasn't been named, has worked at the park since 2002.

In 2010, a cleaner at the park died after falling into the water at the 'It's a small world' attraction.
