Delays likely after truck catches fire at Dublin’s Port Tunnel
Drivers are facing delays due to an incident which saw a truck catch fire at the Port Tunnel this evening.
The Port Tunnel was closed just over an hour ago after a blaze lit up a truck travelling northbound through the major Dublin roadway.
The Gardai have advised commuters that delays are likely due to the incident.

Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to scene, extinguishing the blaze before the southbound tunnel lane was reopened.
The vehicle caught fire while travelling on the northbound bore, of which one lane has now been reopened.
