Three men to appear before special sitting charged in connection with murder of biker

Three men have been formally charged with the murder of a biker last week.

Gardaí have charged the three men, who aged 49, 48 and 25, in connection with the fatal shooting of 51-year-old Andrew O'Donoghue. 
 
The shooting occurred at Mountfune, Murroe, County Limerick last Saturday evening. 
 
O'Donoghue, a member of the Road Tramp Motorcycle Club, was shot in the head in a drive-by shooting outside the biker gang's clubhouse. 
  
The three men are due to appear before a special sitting at Limerick District Court this evening.
  
Two other men - aged in their late 40’s - arrested in connection with this investigation have been released from Garda custody without charge.
 
A file is being prepared for the DPP.
