Three further arrests have been made as part of the investigation into the murder of David 'Daithi' Douglas.

The father-of-one was shot dead in south Dublin city last summer.

Douglas (53) was standing in the doorway of a shop owned by his wife Yumei when he was approached by a lone gunman and hit in the head and chest.

The three arrested today are being held under Section 30 of the offences against the state act for withholding information.
