Shots fired at young couple in Dublin

Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a young couple was shot at by thugs in the Kilbarrick area of Dublin last night.

Reports indicate that the incident occurred at about 10:30pm on St. Berachs Place, Kilbarrick with the junction of Swans Nest Avenue. 

Three shots were fired at the couple who were uninjured in attack.

Damage was caused to a house nearby and the residents were at home at the time of the shooting. 

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information on the incident or who might have seen any activity in the area between 10.15p.m and 10.45p.m last night Friday 27th May, 2016 to contact Raheny Garda Station at 01-6664300, the Garda Confidential line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda station.
