Over €200k worth of cocaine and liquid amphetamine seized in Dublin city after raids
A joint operation between Revenue and Gardai today led to the seizure of huge amounts of liquid amphetamine and cocaine in two Dublin areas.
As part of a joint operation involving Revenue's Customs Service, the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Drugs Units from Store Street and Blanchardstown, a number of houses were searched in the Ballybough and Mulhuddart areas of north Dublin.
A quantity of controlled drugs, including approximately 3.75kg of liquid amphetamine and 2kg of cocaine, were seized by Revenue.
The value of the drugs is approximately €200,000.
Two men, aged 51 and 43, were arrested by gardai from Blanchardstown and one man, aged 56, was arrested by gardai from Store Street.
All have been detained under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act (DT) 1996.
