Murder probe after mother burned to death in Belfast
Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a mother-of-three's body in a house fire.
Jennifer Dornan, 30, was found in west Belfast on Sunday morning.
Detectives appealed to members of the community who saw her socialising with friends on Saturday night, or in the early hours of Sunday morning as she walked home, to contact them.
The bubbly and outgoing woman was found dead in her home at Hazel View on the outskirts of West Belfast after the alarm was raised at 5am on Sunday.
The house was so badly damaged the roof collapsed. Police, forensic teams and the fire service worked outside for much of yesterday as family and friends visited the scene.
The second floor of the two-storey terrace appeared totally destroyed. Witnesses said the flames could be seen from far away.
A PSNI spokesman said: "Police this evening launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a 30-year-old woman's body in a house fire in the Lagmore area of Dunmurry yesterday, Sunday 2 August.
