Mum of man mowed down by vicious thugs appeals for witnesses
The mother of a man beaten and run over by vicious thugs has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
Dad of three Stephen Lynch (32) was beaten by four men before being run over in the Brookview Estate in Tallaght, Dublin 24 on the 13th of April.
Gardai believe that Mr Lynch was mown down after he asked a gang of men to stop speeding through the housing estate where kids were playing.
Speaking on social media, Stephen Lynch’s mum Vera Donovan, spoke of her anger at witnesses who refused to come forward.
She posted a picture of her late son with the caption:
“This is my family. This was a happy time only a few weeks ago, the people who are choosing to say f*** all about it was WORSE than the killers.
“I hope you find it in your heart to say what you know you saw, as a mother I can’t understand you silence, may this heartache never knock at your door.”
Reports indicate that the vicious gang ploughed over Mr Lynch’s body, dragging him along the road before the driver fled the scene on foot.
Several arrests have been made in connection with the incident, but nobody has yet been charged with killing Stephen Lynch
