Gardai are looking for three armed raiders who robbed cash and cigarettes from a shop in Meath last night.

According to gardai, three men in balaclavas entered the filling station at Beauparc, Slane last night at 9pm.

The men were armed with a hammer, a golf club and what is believed to be a 'Taser' like device.

They threatened the female staff with the weapons before making off with a sum of cash and cigarettes.

According to gardai, the men fled the scene in a red car.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
