Gun and ammo found just yards from ‘Cocaine Cowboy’s’ Crumlin home
Gardai have seized a gun and ammunition just 25-yards from ‘Cocaine Cowboy’ Liam Byrne’s Dublin home.
The weapon and ammo was uncovered a stone’s throw from the thug’s Raleigh Square fortress home on Wednesday.
35-year-old Byrne, whose brother David was gunned down in the Regency Hotel attack, is a top lieutenant in the Kinahan cartel.
He is well known to gardai and was once convicted for bashing a man’s skull in with a baseball bat.
Last month he was arrested as part of a CAB investigation which led to the seizure of cash, jewellery and vehicles.
Byrne is on the Hutch gang’s hitlist after he vowed bloody revenge for the murder of his brother in February.
