Grow house busted in Dublin

One man was arrested after gardai carried out a planned search of a house in the Marino area of Dublin 3.

Clontarf based gardai contucted the raid, which was part of an on-going intelligence-led operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs at 12.30pm today.

There were €44,000 worth (pending analysis) of cannabis plants and a quantity of weed found in the house.

A male in his early 30’s was arrest at the scene and detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at Clontarf Garda Station.

He has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
