Authorities in Midlands Prison have moved S&M killed Graham Dwyer after they were warned of a plot to murder him.

Sources report that lags were planning to kill Dwyer in his cell on the E3 landing with a makeshift ‘shiv’ knife.

A source told The Star that “Dwyer was moved in something of a hurry from his cell on Tuesday and rehoused in a holding cell in the committal area”

“The reason for the move was initially being kept very tight but it leaked out later that another inmate had come forward with intelligence that Dwyer was going to be “got”.

The attack was likely to have been a frenzied assault with a ‘shiv’, sources say.

Dwyer is housed with some of Ireland’s most notorious sex offenders like the Athlone rapist who brutally defiled two young girls he lured from a child's birthday party.

Vicious Michael Murray, who raped a Chinese woman for 12 hours in his Dublin apartment after he locked her child outside in the street, is also housed on the E3 landing.

Graham Dwyer was found guilty of murdering 36-year-old Elaine O’Hara by stabbing her for his own sexual gratification in the Dublin Mountains.

The 42-year-old of Kerrymout Close, Foxrock, Dublin had pleaded not guilty to her murder at Killakee, Rathfarnham.

However, a jury of five women and seven men was satisfied that he lured her up the mountain that evening to stab her in pursuit of sexual gratification, before disposing of her belongings to make it look like suicide.

He is serving a life sentence
