A 14-year-old girl in the UK has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault which was caught on camera.

While in her school uniform, the girl is seen in the video dragging out of the boy before punching him a number of times.

The two-minute long clip, which was shot on a mobile phone, has been viewed nearly 3 million times on Facebook since it was uploaded on May 14.

"Are you gonna go get your cousin?", the girl asks, adding: "Your cousin can’t do dirt on me – you understand? Do you think you are a bad yute (a Jamaican slang term for ‘youth’)?"
The young girl is heard mocking him, saying: "Are you going to cry? Are you going to cry?"
She then refers to his alleged drug dealing, asking him: "Where’s your weed?" before appearing to warn him off selling drugs on the local estate.
"Don't p*** me off or I will have you on the floor, you understand? Don't even p*** me off.
"You best fix up, sort yourself out, and when my bredren or anyone on this estate comes for a draw you're not giving them dust, you understand?"
Police were called to a house in Croydon, London after receiving information regarding the footage. There, they arrested a 14-year-old girl who was charged with assault the following day.
She is expected to appear in court later today.
Social media users applauded the young man's restraint during the incident.
One rote: "I really respect that lad for keeping his cool however it's so frustrating that she thinks that she can walk all over him like that, and then she'd probably complain if he defended himself and hit her back."
