Gardai swoop across Dublin in targeted organised crime raids
Both private residences and commercial premises were raided this morning as part of a garda sting on organised criminal activity in Dublin.
At 10am this morning, gardai raided 20 premises in the Dublin area on foot of search warrants issued to officers attached to the Criminal Assets Bureau and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
The targeted search operation was a result of an ongoing multi-agency investigation into serious organised crime in the Dublin Region, as well as the suspected laundering of the proceeds of such criminality.
The raids involved a number of private residences, along with several commercial premises associated with the motor trade.
