Two men are in custody and a suitcase full of cocaine is in the garda evidence room following today's west Dublin bust.

Officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau seized the cocaine, which is estimated to be worth €500,000

Gardai stopped and searched a vehicle in Ballyfermot and then raided a house in the Dublin 20 area this afternoon as part of an intelligence-led operation into the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Dublin West area.

Two men, aged 34 and 55 years were arrested and are both being detained in Ballyfermot Garda Station.
