Garda organised crime operation seizes £100k in Dublin house raid

Gardai seized over £100,000 in a raid on a house in Clondalkin last night.

As part of ongoing investigations targeting serious criminal activity in Dublin, gardai carried out a raid on an address in the Clondalkin area.

During the search operation, sterling cash in excess of £100k was located and seized. 

Four persons, two men and two women, were arrested for money laundering offences.

The four are aged between 34 and 46.

They are currently detained at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Street garda stations under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, as amended.

The raid was conducted by the Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and the Serious Crime Task Force.
