Fury poses with another Kinahan cartel heavyweight
The "Gypsy King" Tyson Fury is all smiles as he poses with top Kinahan cartel thug Liam Byrne.
Liam Byrne, the brother of David Byrne who was gunned down in the Regency Hotel attack in February 2016, is one of the cartel’s top men and is believed to have vowed revenge on the Hutch gang over the death of his brother.
This exclusive image shows former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury, who had to had to give up his title last year after testing positive for cocaine, posing with Byrne and middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders, who has no links to crime.
Fury, who has no connection to crime, regularly trains in the notorious MTK gym in Marbella and has been photographed with cartel top dog Daniel Kinahan.
The Marbella gym, formerly known as MGM, is run by former boxer Matthew Macklin and Daniel Kinahan.
Sources say that the fighter has become well acquainted with the Kinahan crew.
Fury, a British born fighter of Irish traveller heritage hasn’t been in the ring since beating Wladimir Klitschko to win the world title in November 2015.
According to reports he is planning a comeback and has Anthony Joshua firmly in his sights.
MTK gym has over 100 boxers on its books, including Paddy Barnes and Jamie Conlan.
The Boxing Union of Ireland currently won't sanction any fights involving MTK fighters in Ireland, on the advice of gardai over fears of another Regency Hotel-style attack.
