This is the young man who died following a violent row in Dublin in the early hours of the morning.

Peter Conroy (25), from Deansrath Lawn in Clondalkin, died following the horror attack outside a B&B on Kennelsfort Road in Palmerstown around 3.45am.

Reports suggest up to 70 people were involved in a row during which weapons were used.

Peter was one of two men rushed to Blanchardstown Hospital to be treated for stab wounds following the attack. He lost his fight for life this morning.

Two other people were taken to Tallaght Hospital.

Bloodstains clothing could be seen at the scene today as gardai begun their investigations.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

It is understood many of those involved are members of the traveller community and unconfirmed reports suggested some people may have been staying in the B&B ahead of a wedding due to take place today.
