Pioneering new training which has been given to police officers in the UK, will help them to detect paedophiles by looking at their clothes and tattoos.

Police in Durham, UK, have adopted a programme developed in the US by the Texas Rangers (Of Walker Texas Ranger Fame) and Dr Joe Sullivan, an international expert on tracing paedos.

The Intervene to Protect a Child (IPC) programme shows how certain behavioural signs can indicate that someone may be a child abuser.

Certain books, items of clothing and explicit tattoos can be indicative of someone who is sexually attracted to kids.

Dr Sullivan did not wish to give more specific details about those indicators to the general public.
