Young mum shares shocking pictures of domestic violence
A mother-of-one took to social media to share photos of her battered and bruised body after her ex-boyfriend was found guilty of assaulting her in court.
Wayne Hoban (24, below) was jailed for 16 months yesterday for the attack which left his 22-year-old girlfriend unconscious.
Stephanie Littlewood was left unconscious with three teeth knocked out after her then-partner, Wayne Hoban, attacked her.
The disturbing pictures show Ms Littlewood lying on a hospital bed with her face swollen and covered in blood after the attack on April 2.
The 22-year-old, from Leeds, West Yorkshire said Hoban attacked her after she refused to have sex with him.
In her witness statement, she said he dragged her around the bed and punched her up to 50 times.
Mr Hoban was found guilty of grievous bodily harm in Leeds Crown Court yesterday and sentenced to 16 months in prison.
In her Facebook post, Ms Littlewood said:
“So as most of you are aware on the 2nd of April 2016 my partner at the time Wayne Hoban beat me nearly to death!
"He was in a foul mood with me all night and wanted sex with me but because I turned him down he turned angry and aggressive. Dragging me around my bed numerous times and slamming me back onto it leaving me in tears under the quilt, he walked out.
“Seconds later returning dragging the whole quilt off of me and throwing it onto the floor, gripping me by my ankle and pulling me off the bed, throwing me onto the floor he then sat on top of me and strangled me to the floor so I couldn’t move continuously punching me 40-50 times to the left side of my face breaking my jaw and knocking out 3 teeth (including a back one) also chipped my front top tooth!
"He knocked me unconscious & continued to beat me! I was rushed to hospital and taken into resus to wait for CT scans as the hospital thought I would be left brain damaged or with a bleed to my brain. 6 months later and I’m still awaiting construction work on my bottom teeth. Not to mention how this has effected me emotionally [sic].”
She added that she wanted to share her story to warn other women of “what a monster he is”.
