Three women brutally tortured a man with hot curling tongs, a lighter, a pizza cutter and cigarettes after they found out he had been cheating on them.

Natalie Lilley (19), Leah White (22), Lorraine Earles (47) and 27-year-old Brendan Teale had allegedly planned to attack the victim in revenge for seeing three women at once.

The man was lured to an apartment, in Scarborough, Yorkshire, UK, where he was held captive and brutally tortured.

A court heard that the man was forced to drink washing up liquid before being burnt with a cigarette by his tormentors.

One of the defendants bit the man's ear and used a cigarette lighter to burn the back of his neck, before threatening to suffocate him with a scarf.

Following this he had his penis scalded with hot curling tongs.

A pizza cutter was then produced and in a scene reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs the man was threatened with the kitchen implement before being punched.

Leah White

His ordeal only came to an end when White and Lilley untied him while Earles, the ringleader, slept in nearby bedroom.

They all pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The sentences the women received have been described by online sources as “unduly lenient” and “disgraceful” for the crime of kidnapping and torture.

Earles spent five months on remand and was given a two-year community order, while Teale was jailed for a year.

Lilley received a community order and was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and White was also given a community order.
