Video of Victoria Cullen's husband being captured by the police has appeared on Australian TV.

Christopher Cullen, originally from Liverpool, had pleaded not guilty to murder, but guilty to manslaughter.

However, a jury at New South Wales Supreme Court found him guilty of the murder of his estranged wife, Victoria Comrie Cullen, from Bangor, County Down earlier this week.

It emerged during the trial that on the morning of her death, Mrs Cullen had been arguing with her husband in a row over their car.

Mr Cullen said that he lost control when his wife began taunting him over her sex life. Neighbours spoke of how they heard a "woman screaming and in pain" in the couple's garage.

Mr Cullen then drove his wife to a camping shop where he bought a black tee-shirt and two knives.

He drove Mrs Cullen to a remote car park at a fishing club in Taren Point.

When police arrived at the scene they found Mrs Cullen slumped in the car, and caught Christopher Cullen as he emerged from nearby mangroves with knife wounds.

Now we have footage of the moment the police apprehended Cullen.
