A woman who pleaded guilty last month to murdering her baby son 13 years ago has changed her plea and now denies the charge.

Lesley Dunford, 37, was charged in October last year with the murder of seven-month-old Harley Dunford on August 27 2003.

He was found dead in his cot at the family's former seaside home in Pelwood Road, Camber, near Hastings, East Sussex.

At Lewes Crown Court last month in front of Mr Justice Singh, Dunford, formerly of Windermere Close, Exeter, Devon, pleaded guilty to murder.

Appearing via videolink at the Old Bailey on Friday, she changed her plea to not guilty and will now stand trial at Lewes Crown Court in April, a court official confirmed.
