Toddler crashes pickup truck after his drunk mum falls out of car

A 3-year-old boy was forced to take the wheel and crash his family’s pickup truck off the road after his intoxicated mother fell out of the vehicle.

The quick thinking boy steered the truck across four lanes of traffic while standing on the seat.

The vehicle continued driving alone the highway in rural Oklahoma, US, for an estimated four blocks before it hit a kerb and stopped.

The boy’s mother 33-year-old Taloa Foster reportedly fell out of the vehicle as he tried to buckle her son’s seatbelt.

Her twin boys were uninjured, but shocked, by the ordeal.

Foster was arrested for DUI and child endangerment after failing sobriety test.

Police also found an empty bottle of spirits in the car.

The mother was released on bail and the children were released into the care of their grandmother.
