A 16-year-old boy who had more than two dozen packages of heroin in his anus was caught by police after they witnessed him sitting oddly.

The drug addict, who cannot be named due to his age, was a passenger in a vehicle when it was stopped by police in March in Claygate in Surrey in the UK.

Police noticed the teen sitting in the back of a car driven by Alexander Mills (46) and decided to pull them in.

Upon questioning both of the males gave different explanations for their suspicious behaviour, with the young male seeming particularly uncomfortable.

According to Get Surrey, Lee Harris, prosecuting, said: “At around 11.30am on March 4, police spotted Mills driving in a blue Nissan Almera car with a passenger who was sitting in the back seat behind the driver. The car was then stopped on Clayton Road in Claygate.

“Both these men gave different explanations of what they were doing when questioned by the police, with the passenger seeming uncomfortable

“In short, it turns out that the passenger was secreting drugs in his anus in small packages containing 2.694 grams of diamorphine, known as heroin.

“Those were then passed by him in the police station where they were cleaned and checked by the police.”

The 16-year-old was searched by police who found cling film and a small tub of Vaseline with a finger scoop out of it in his pocket.

Mr Mills told police he had no knowledge of the drugs the teen had secreted in his anus and that he was just giving him a lift for a mate.

Mills and the 16-year-old boy, who pleaded guilty, will return to Guildford Crown Court on September 25 to be sentenced.
