West Mercia Police were called following concerns for the safety of Sean Stevens, from Worcester, UK, who was found in the water near Bilford Road bridge at around 8.50pm on Thursday.

He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by ambulance but pronounced dead at 11.15pm last night.
