Sudden death of two-year-old boy "unexplained" says UK police
The sudden death of a two-year-old boy in a village is being treated as unexplained, police said.
Emergency services were called to an address in Broadmayne, near Dorchester, Dorset on Thursday morning.
Dorset Police said the boy was found to be seriously ill at the property and was taken to Dorset County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A spokeswoman said: "At this time the cause of his death is unexplained and therefore officers are making inquiries into the circumstances.
"Police are working together with the family and medical specialists to understand what has happened. The coroner has been informed. No arrests have been made."
