A perverted sex attacker who was jailed for assaulting a teenage girl in an alleyway while on a drugs binge, had his testicles removed while in custody.

24-year-old Paul Catterall was caged for seven years and eight months after he admitted to attacking an 18-year-old girl in Bolton, UK.

It was revealed during his trial that Catterall had a previous conviction for sexual assault, dating back to 2009 when he put his hand up a woman’s skirt while at a bus station.

The court heard that while on remand the pervert was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had to have his testes chopped off.

He will now have to serve his lengthy sentence without his reproductive organs.

The assaulted woman’s victim impact statement was read to the court:

"Initially when I arrived home, I stayed in the bath and constantly scrubbed my body because I felt dirty.

"I scrubbed so hard I made myself bleed.

"This person has completely destroyed my life. I feel like a prisoner in my own home."

A relative of the victim said:

“I hope he rots. He should have been hung for what he did."

A friend of the family added:

"It's apt that he did this, and has now had his testicles removed.

“He is a brute and a monster."
