Jailed O.J. Simpson is under round-the-clock armed guard after a series of gruesome threats to slit his throat by white supremacist prison gangs.

The former American football Hall of Fame hero (68), has become a hate target following the launch of a new TV drama series about his so-called murder ‘trial of the century’.

Nazi gangs at Lovelock Correctional Institution in Nevada have even vowed to try to decapitate the one-time sporting icon, whose former manager and longtime friend

Norman Pardo revealed: “O.J. is in constant fear of attack.

“His health is failing and he is not in good shape. I very much doubt he would survive a severe beating, let alone a determined knife attack. Even though he is being guarded closely, he’s a sitting duck in there.”

Simpson was sensationally cleared of the June, 1994 killings of his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ronald Goldman – after the famous ‘if the glove doesn’t fit you must acquit’ trial – but was later ordered to pay their families a record $33.5million in a wrongful death civil judgement.

The story of their horrific slayings is being retold in the FX show American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson, in which Cuba Gooding Jr. plays the one-time sporting icon.

O.J. was sentenced to 33 years behind bars in 2008 for a string of felonies, including armed robbery and kidnapping, following an attack in the Las Vegas hotel room of a sports memorabilia dealer. He is eligible for parole next year.
