57-year-old Roberty Ahorner argused with his wife about sex, before announcing “if I’m not using it, I might as well shoot it off,” according to reports.

He then went into another room and fired four shots, according to a criminal complaint.

Police at Walworth County, Wisconsin, responded to the incident and found what appeared to be four bullet holes in the floor of the master bedroom.

Ahorner told a deputy he wanted to scare his wife and aimed the gun at the floor so the rounds would go into the basement, where no one was supposed to be.

He told police that he’d been boozing since noon and had gone through a 12-pack of beer.

Ahorner’s wife told police that she had arged with him at 5pm after finding him looking at porn online, at which point he picked up his unloaded 9mm pistol, pointed it at his penis and pulled the trigger, according to the complaint.

He called her explicit names before he went to the bathroom and fired two shots; he then allegedly fired another bullet into the ground when his wife went to check on him

She then left to call 911 and heard another gunshot.

Ahorner's wife said her husband has mental health issues and takes several medications

He is charged with felony endangering safety by reckless use of a firearm and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

He posted a $1,000 cash bond, and a competency exam was ordered.
