A man has been charged with disemboweling and brutally murdering his girlfriend after she called out her ex-husband's name twice during sex

Fidel Lopez, 24, became aggressive on hearing Maria Nemeth, 31, call out the name and shattered a glass door and ripped a door off before mutilating his partner with different objects.

He then inserted several foreign objects into the woman's vagina and anus, including a beer bottle, a hair iron and both his fists and arms up to his elbows, making Maria Nemeth bleed.

He then removed  her intestines with his bare hands as she lay unconscious.

Lopez then brought her to the bathroom, splashed water on her face, washed his hands and called 911.

Paramedics arrived at the scene to find him sobbing over the woman's naked body lying in a pool of blood, according to the police report.

Ms Nemeth was pronounced dead at the scene less than 30 minutes after Lopez’s initial call to police.

Lopez was arrested Sunday afternoon on a first-degree murder charge and ordered held without bond in the Broward County jail.
