A man in the United States, who is facing a jail sentence, has been ordered to stay away from animals after he and a husky were found "humping".

Kenneth Dwayne Kellmer appeared in court yesterday charged with one felony count of deviate sexual conduct for the alleged encounter with a 3-year-old husky in February. 

An  affidavit alleges a woman came home to find Kellmer on the floor on his hands and knees with the husky dog on top of him. His pants were pulled down and the woman said her dog had been "humping" him. 

He was arrested on Sunday after police issued a warrant for his arrest in March. 

Court documents allege the incident took place at the home in Missoula County, Montata, on February 21. 

"On or about the 21st day of February, 2015, Missoula City Police Officer Campbell spoke with a woman (complainant) about a report she wanted to make regarding her sister’s boyfriend, Kenneth Kellmer.

"Complainant stated earlier today she returned to her home in Missoula County to find Kellmer insider her home.
"Kellmer was on the floor, on his hands and knees, with his pants down. She saw her dog, a 3.5 year old husky, "humping" Kellmer."
The 41-year-old was released on his own recognizance and ordered not to have contact with any dogs or cats – including his own six pets, Missoulian reports. 
He is due to appear in court in several weeks and if found guilty faces a hefty prison sentence and possibly a fine.
