Man arrested in UK over stab murder

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 29-year-old who died of stab wounds.

Lynford Brewster, from Cardiff, died on Sunday June 12 following an incident at around 7pm in Brynfedw, Llanedeyrn.

A 23-year-old man from Kidderminster has been arrested in Norfolk on suspicion of murder and is being brought to South Wales for questioning, South Wales Police said.

The force said Mr Brewster's family have been updated regarding this recent development and continue to be supported by family liaison officers.

Two men have been charged with Mr Brewster's murder.

Dwayne Edgar, 29, from Llanedeyrn, and Robert Lainsbury, 22, from Kidderminster, are both remanded in custody until a further hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on September 5, police said.

A 19-year-old man from Cardiff previously arrested in connection with the investigation is on police bail.

No further action is being taken against a 35-year-old who was also previously arrested.
