A gang of burglars made the wrong decision when they targeted the home of Samurai sword wielding Dias Costa.

In a scene worthy of a Quentin Tarantino film, 49-year-old Costa went Kill Bill on the robbers, who were armed with hand guns, by slashing their face, arms and necks with his razor sharp blade.

Costa and his wife Christina were in bed asleep in their in central Argentina home, when the men entered their home at around 3.30am.

“In a moment when the attackers were not paying attention, the house owner took a samurai sword and defended himself, injuring the attackers and making them run away,” said Police commissioner Mariano Zarate.

The raiders made off with €380, in a Peugeot 306, but the driver of the car, bleeding and disorientated, lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle.

All four men were hospitalised and are currently in intensive care.

The Costa family have moved in with relatives, fearing they will be the victims of a revenge attack.
