Teen denies phone robbery
A DUBLIN youth has pleaded not guilty to a phone robbery in his own apartment building.
The Dublin Children's Court heard that the boy, aged 17, made no reply when he was charged with robbery of a female who allegedly had her mobile phone taken on December 12 last year.
The location of the offence is a residential building in the city's north-side in which the teenager has an address and where he was also arrested.
Today, he was accompanied to court bys his mother and lawyer, as he pleaded not guilty and a January 2016 hearing date was set. The teenager was remanded on continuing bail by Judge John O'Connor.
The boy had granted free legal at an earlier stage.
