Teen admits attempting two rapes in one day
A 16-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to two attempted rapes committed on the same day.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, stood with his head bowed in the dock at Nottingham Crown Court as he pleaded guilty to the two charges as well as three assaults by penetration against two women.
The offences took place last month off an alley in Wollaton and in a street in Lenton, both in Nottingham.
Defending, Adrian Langdale said the offences were "clearly out of character".
Recorder Graham Huston said: "You have pleaded guilty to very serious offences, as you fully understand.
"You will be brought back to court on January 13 when another judge will sentence you.
"In the meantime, reports are to be obtained by a psychologist and the Youth Offending Team.
"I am sure you are fully aware of the seriousness of these offences."
The teenager was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
