Teen accused of breaking into chocolate factory with pocket full of weed
A DUBLIN youth accused of burglary at a chocolate factory appeared in court today to have his trial date set.
The 16-year-old boy has been charged with burglary at Caffrey's premises, in an industrial estate at the Greenhills Road, in Dublin 12 on a date earlier this year.
It is alleged he trespassed there with intent to commit theft.
He also has a connected charge for unlawful possession of €25 worth of cannabis, on the same date, when he was brought to Crumlin Garda station.
Today at the Dublin Children's Court, his lawyer said a hearing date was being sought.
Judge John O'Connor ordered that the trial would take place in December and remanded the boy, who was accompanied to court by his father, on continuing bail.
