A man is to appear in court this morning in relation to a robbery at a fast food outlet in Tallaght where a chainsaw was used to threaten staff.

At approximately 12.20am two men entered a take-away at Old Bawn Shopping Centre carrying a chainsaw, which was running.
They tore the cash register from the counter while threatening terrified staff and left the takeaway. They then headed in the direction of Bohernabreena Road.
One of the raiders had his face disguised with a scarf and a hood and was dressed in a grey and navy tracksuit top. The other robber was wearing a black tracksuit and both men were wearing gloves.
Gardai from Rathfarnham and Tallaght stations arrived soon after and carried out a search of the area. They later arrested two men aged 23 and 40, who were taken to Tallaght Garda Station.
The money taken and the cash register were recovered later.
A 40-year-old man is set to appear before Tallaght District Court at 10.30am this morning. A 23-year-old is set to appear at the court on separate charges, authorities said.
Both of the men remain in custody until their court dates.
