Man charged following knife attack which left victim with serious injury
A man has been charged over a knife attack in the UK which left his victim needing surgery.
Paul Masters, of Croft Road, Yardley, is due before magistrates in Birmingham on Monday, accused of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and making threats with a bladed article.
The 49-year-old is accused of attacking a 20-year-old man at the William Tyler pub in Church Road in Yardley at 11.30pm on December 30.
West Midlands Police said the victim suffered a serious shoulder injury.
Masters, a factory worker, was detained at around 1am on New Year's Eve and remanded in police custody.
