Jury begins deliberating in trial of Dublin man accused of murder

The jury has begun deliberating in the trial of a Dublin man accused of shooting a man at his home more than two years ago.

Keith O'Neill (39) from Lissadell Drive, Drimnagh in Dublin has pleaded not guilty to murdering John Wilson (35) on September 28th, 2012 at his home on Cloverhill Road, Ballyfermot Dublin 10.

It is the prosecutions case that Mr O'Neill participated in the death of Mr Wilson.

Mr Justice Tony Hunt asked the jury of five women and seven men for a unanimous verdict today (Tuesday) at the Central Criminal Court.

The jury were excused for the day after one hour and twenty-nine minutes deliberating and will return tomorrow.
