A drive by flasher pulled up to a female pedestrian in his car to ask for directions while nude from the waist down.

35-year-old Polish national Robert Szlapa, who lives in Apartment 1, Gallop View, Cregmore Co Galway pleaded guilty before Galway District Court this week, according to the Connacht Tribune.

Szalpa admitted to breaching the peace by engaging in threatening, abusive and insulting words or behaviour.

The perverted incident occurred on the Bohermore Road in Galway City at 6:30am on the 19th of August last year.

The court heard that Szlapa pulled up next to a female pedestrian, rolled down the front passenger’s window and asked for directions.

The woman noticed that his pants were down beneath his knees, ‘fully exposing’ his penis.

However, it was noted that his hands were on the steering wheel.

The shocked woman complained to gardai who then contacted Szlapa.

The brazen exhibitionist then made a full admission at the garda station.

The court heard that he lives with his partner, was very embarrassed and was hoping not to to get a conviction, reports the Connacht Tribune.

Judge Mary Fahy was told that Szlapa had no psychological problems, despite this she suggested he might need some counselling, before marking a conviction so he would be on the gardai’s “radar”.

Szlapa was fined €600 and given five months to pay, no custodial sentence was handed down as Judge Fahy felt it would be of no benefit as he would lose his job.
