Couple accused of running illegal pharmacy from their Dublin house
A MARRIED couple are facing trial accused of illegally supplying prescription medicines.
Husband and wife Lawrence and Yemi Rabiu of Cherrywood Park, Clondalkin, in Dublin face charges for unlawfully conducting retail pharmacy business at their address in November 2015 and supply of prescription only products including skin creams on other dates in 2015.
They are being prosecuted by the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) the agency which regulates medicines in Ireland.
Summons were issued against the couple who appeared before Judge John Brennan at Dublin District Court.
The court heard that they trade in hair produce such as extensions.
Legal aid was granted and they were ordered to appear again on a date in September when they will be expected to indicate how they intend to play.
