'Bus wanker' on the run after performing shocking acts on Dublin-bound coach
A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of an asylum seeker who failed to turn up in court for sentencing on indecent exposure charges.
An asylum seeker in Monaghan has had a bench warrant issued for his arrest after failing to appear in court.
The Sengalese man was found guilty of exposing himself in a public place, as well as both masturbating and urinating in public.
The incidents occurred both on and outside an Ulsterbus coach which was headed for Dublin.
According to the Northern Standard, asylum seeker Mademba Samb did not present himself before the courts on June 27, where he was due for sentencing after being found guilty of the lewd acts.
Samb, with an addresss at St Patrick's Accommodation, Drumgoask, Monaghan, had been remanded on continuing bail before his scheduled court appearance.
Judge Denis McLoughlin, of Monaghan District Court, had requested both psychiatric and probation reports on the Senegalese man.
The defendant is facing further, separate charges which allege that he masturbated in public at a Monaghan location on April 16, 2016.
Last year, a UK 'train wanker' was said to have "yanked out his tackle" before inappropriately touching himself in front of two women on a London-bound train.
