Cops search for man who committed 'lewd act' during 'The Emoji Movie'

Cops in New Jersey are searching for a man who was reported to be committing a lewd act during a screening of 'The Emoji Movie'.

New Jersey radio station 101.5 report on the alleged incident which is said to have taken place at an afternoon screening of the children's film last Friday.

According to reports a woman who was attending the film with her children noticed a man with his trousers unbuttoned and unzipped with his hand down his pants.

The man, reported to be in his 20s or 30s, was seated in the back row of the cinema alone.

The woman alerted staff at the cinema in Howell, New Jersey, about an hour south of New York City, and the man was removed from the premises.

The mother then contacted police when she returned home to report the incident.

Cops are now searching for the man for questioning.
