Company confirms network down for most of 2 million Irish customers
A major telecoms company has confirmed that its network is down for many of its 2m Irish customers.
Three, the company which recently absorbed O2’s customers, making them the second largest operator in Ireland behind Vodafone, has reported service issues since 3pm today.
Users have complained that they are unable to text or make calls since this afternoon.
The company's official account tweeted:
"Some customers may be experiencing issues with their service. We’re working on getting this fixed ASAP. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
Customers of Tesco Mobile, which uses Three's network, are also affected by the ongoing outage.
