Vogue: Kim Kardashian is getting a bum deal from web trolls
THIS was the week that Kim Kardashian broke the internet for a second time.
The first time was her infamous bum shot on the cover of Paper magazine.
It caused her to have a bum X-ray on her reality show to prove that she did not get implants in her rear. I have nothing against what anyone chooses to do with their body, but Kim’s ever-changing bum suggests she has fallen victim to having her own fat removed and then injected back into her rear.
This has never been confirmed, but it’s a huge craze at the moment and it has been suggested that her sister Kylie has had the same procedure.
I have always wondered how Kim can cope with the amount of abuse she receives online every day. I complain amount it, but the abuse I get is practically non-existent in comparison.
This week saw Kim on a holiday to Mexico with her friends, where untouched photos were released of her in a minuscule Dior bikini (above).
People were less than impressed with what they saw and came out in their droves to let it be known.
What were people expecting? I don’t think it’s a secret that the Kardashian clan airbrush all of their photos and use incredible lighting to take every selfie.
Any photoshoot that the Kardashians, or anyone in the public eye, do are photoshopped to within an inch of their lives, so surely the trolls knew that wasn’t her actual body.
I’ve done shoots where I have actually had to go back to the photographer and ask them to tone down the photoshop because I would struggle to recognise myself in some of them.
Kim Kardashian has cellulite, but so what? Over 90 per cent of women have it.
I have it, I hate it and I’m currently getting a treatment to try and get rid of it. I would feel so hurt and upset if my cellulite was posted all over the internet with people abusing me for it.
What I hate about this whole Bum Gate is that at the end of the day its nasty. No matter what you think of Kim, she is a person like everyone else.
If anything, these pictures can show us that what you see in most pictures isn’t reality.
Young girls and fans of any celeb shouldn’t aspire to be them because what you see in pictures is never what you get in real life, but it shouldn’t give anyone a reason to abuse someone.
I read an article this week that gave the reasons why single people hated going to weddings.
They felt like people felt sorry for them and always asked if they had met anyone nice – well, they were there alone so they obviously hadn’t.
It did make me laugh because I can totally get where they were coming from. I spent most of last year single and I did feel like people wondered why I hadn’t met anyone.
The thing is I had met someone, and then someone else, and then someone else, because I was dating and happily single by choice.
I can never understand why people would feel sorry for single people because most people choose to be alone for whatever reason. I was single because I wanted to be, I wasn’t ready to meet anyone and I didn’t want anything serious.
Being single can either be fun or terrifying, it is what you make it. I spent so much time with family and friends and I actually took the time out to figure out what I wanted.
To all the single people out there, I don’t feel sorry for you, I would say you are having the time of your life! Although I am no longer single, my time alone taught me so many lessons and I’m in a much happier place now.
